It seems like at the moment
I’m just not able to finish something
before starting with the next one.

So I just have nothing to post except unfinished pieces.

But that’s no problem, cause we just call it
WIP and everything is fine... :)

Wow. Did not post anything for a while,
we have a new year and it’s fucking cold outside.
So what else can you do then draw some girls,
mix it with a lot of SiFi and Fantasy stuff and show it here.

Rocker Billie

“Rocker Billie” is just another quick character design
inspired by all the good Elvis documentaries on Arte,
I watched this summer.

The holy moustache.

This is my version of a typical German mid-eighties Football player.
I mixed it with a sort of Russian or Byzantine Icon Painting.
`Cause I thought with the mighty power of the holy moustache,
no one could stop us from becoming world champions again.
 

But, I just didn’t know that the Football-God is not an eighties guy…

Sketching again...

Finally it’s spring.
And guess what, I’m drawing Graffiti again.
I’m trying to work on the simplicity of geometric shapes
and the power of the straight line at the moment.
So, here are some very, very fast sketches
from the last night…

Raja is a character concept, which i mad for my portfolio.
It's my first piece in 0one. So I hope you enjoy it,
like I've done while working on it...

There we have a digital layout for the canvas I work on at the moment.
Normally, I don't do such high- detailed sketches before I work on a canvas.
But in that case, I thought i could be a good thing to get an exact impression
of the shadings and colours before I start the "real" work.

And just because I like the "sketch" and just not finished the canvas yet,
I post it here.

Analogue Survivor.

Some impressions from my desktop.


I mean, yes we own that crystal clear TFT screens,
we use the super high-tech graphic cards, that optical
mouse with the ultra high resolution. And of course we
bought that brand new well designed A3 Wacom tablet.

But at the end of the day, I'll always go back
to my pencils, pens and papers.

'Cause there still is nothing better than drawing on a
cheap white paper with a lousy free ballpoint pen.

Stranded

Exactly 8 years ago i drew that little sketch.
The reason why i start this blog with it is that this was the
first time NeoNaut were stranded on this little blue planet.
And now 8 years later, i strand here.
